(SCOPE OF WORK)

My task was to design an identity for the 2023 season of the festival which would feature a very powerful programming lineup, including award-winning playwrights Kirsten Childs and Madeline Sayet, iconoclastic directors Kent Gash, Tiffany Nichole Greene, Dawn Monique Williams as well as a very strong transmedia platform with immersive projects on OSF’s O! Digital Stage.

The identity needed to encompass show artwork, social media communication, e-mail marketing, brochures, trailers and other forms of print and digital promotion.

SHOW ARTWORK

Each play, show and project were represented by their own unique artwork. The “icons” I created needed to encompass their own individual spirit but at the same time had to cohesively work together under the umbrella of the season’s identity. The chosen collage aesthetic gave flexibility for dynamic and surreal artwork, and the black and white elements worked well with the vibrant color pallete representing the 2023 season.
